Beginning September 2013 we shall be departing Long Island, New York with our newest VW family member “Arabella”, a 1982 Turbo-Diesel VW Vanagon (Westfalia). We plan to travel the back roads of America re-discovering the beauty of our own backyard while hopefully meeting plenty of new friends who inspire us along the way. The collective vision of the project is too document our adventure in Arabella alongside the stories of other individuals who prescribe to a life lived on the road – in a van – and off the beaten path…Returning from the road, we will display the artwork, photography, and short stories inspired by the journey at a gallery exhibition in New York City. The exhibition will also mark the release of our photo book “Vantage Points”. We hope that you will follow us as our Salt Roots spread across the Unites states in search of new experiences, inspirations, and friendships.
